Credit Repair Questions - What you need to know.

How does it work?

Our process uses a completely automated system. Easy to use, no-hassle with lightning quick response time. When you sign up with Griffin Credit, our team of credit repair professionals goes to work for you, many times with same day turnaround.

When you sign up, you’ll receive a login id and password so your account is totally secure. You can look up your progress by logging into your account. Griffin Credit will post updates to your account through the entire credit repair process.

Should you have questions or comments, we want to hear from you. Simply contact us, we’ll answer your concerns promptly.

Roughly 50 days after we begin repairing your credit, you’ll receive letters from all three reporting agencies: TransUnion, Equifax and Experian. The agencies will send updates and new credit reports to your address. In order for Griffin Credit to continue to repair your reports, mail them to:

Griffin Credit PO BOX 2747 Olathe, KS 66063

Griffin Credit will analyze the reports and implement the best strategies to repair your credit. The process will then be repeated, and in approximately another 50 days, you’ll again receive three reports from TransUnion, Equifax and Experian which you’ll need to mail to Griffin Credit.

If necessary, Griffin Credit will continue their credit repair solutions for up to 180 days from enrollment. At the end of the 180 days, Griffin Credit will again access your reports verifying your credit scores and confirm the repair status.

You’ll receive documentation of the repairs Griffin Credit has made to your reports. You’ll want to take advantage of Griffin Credit’s premiere identity theft protection program. Just ask your representative or email us today for more information.

By offering 100% automation, Griffin Credit is able to remain efficient by using the latest technologies in credit repair.

  1. You must not default on any payments or be late on any items during the credit repair process.
  2. You must complete the entire 180 day process in full and within Griffin Credit guidelines.
  3. You must be enrolled in an approved identity theft protection service while in the credit repair process.
  4. You cannot pull your own credit bureau report more than three times in the enrollment period of six months or 180 days.

How much does it cost?

The fee for credit repair depends on how much repair needs to be completed. No two reports are the same. After evaluating your credit report, Griffin Credit will propose a cost to you for its services. Your representative will aid you in determining the cost of the repair prior to working on your credit.

How long does it take?

We will work on your report as long as it takes. We have seen optimal credit improvement in less than 45 days and we have seen it take as long as 12 months. Credit reports are all different and your credit is unique and will require its own personal attention. We can’t predict how long each credit repair will take. Our approach is simple; we will work on it as long as it takes. That is our guarantee.

Does Griffin have a payment plan?

Yes, we have options depending on your financial situation. We work with our clients and make it affordable to everyone. We don’t have unrealistic contracts or demanding payment schedules that will make your budget even tighter. Click here to talk to us about your payment options.

How can credit be repaired?

We love answering this question. When is the last time you saw a commercial that stated your consumer protection laws? You probably never have seen such a commercial. However, we bet that you have seen a free credit report commercial! This is because the finance companies, reporting agencies, and the proverbial "powers that be" want to market a bogus "free" service that enables them to collect and resell your information to lending companies across the nation. They are not interested in protecting your scores so you can save money and interest on items financed.

Why does Griffin Credit require everything to be mailed, Rather than faxed or emailed?

Because fax machines, scanners, and email can have potential problems: readability, technology errors and mistakes can occur. While mail via USPS may be slower, it is safer, effective, and much easier to receive and read.

How do I get updates on my credit repair?

Click on Representative and Client Login at the top of each page. You will be prompted for your username and password. Once you're logged in, you can view your credit repair.

Who do I contact about customer service?

That is what is so great about Griffin, everything is automated. If you have any customer service questions, simply click on contact us. Fill out your question or concern and you will be emailed by a specialist the same day you email us.

Why does Griffin require I send the updated reports sent from Transunion, Experian, and Equifax?

So we won't pull your credit numerous times throughout the process. The burden of proof is upon the reporting agencies, not you, and certainly not Griffin Credit. We must push them to provide us with the updates to show proper search and discovery. They must show willful compliance. We ensure they do. When you send us the updates, it will reflect what has been re-verified, deleted, or updated. This is what we use to further dispute your report.

Do I need to see my credit report before signing up for credit repair?

No, you will receive a consultation from an agent on your credit. We simply don’t email, fax, or mail credit reports.

Does paying my bills restore my credit?

No, in fact, if you pay old debts that could be deleted, this can sometimes HURT your score. It is better to go through credit repair to see what will be removed before attempting to pay off debt that could potentially be stricken from your report. Also, just because you have paid your debts off doesn't mean you will see an increase in scores. There are ways to raise your score, eliminate the bad mark off of your credit, and force the creditor to report a positive history of your payments.
